Free Russia Foundation Opens Chapter in Prague, the Czech Republic

Free Russia Foundation announces the opening of its new chapter in Prague, the Czech Republic.

The Prague Chapter will serve as a powerful platform for the growing community of political immigrants and exiled activists as they seek to advance the vision of a democratic Russia. It will expand Free Russia Foundation’s work to support pro-democracy forces globally; to counter Putin’s malign activities seeking to erode democratic institutions in the West; and support policy-makers in formulation of an informed and sustainable Russia strategy.

The Prague Chapter will be headed by Inna Kurochkina, an award-winning journalist, editor and documentary film producer. Her work has focused on the Kremlin’s propaganda, disinformation war and influence campaigns against Europe. Since 2014, she has coordinated international cultural and educational initiatives in support of democratic developments in Russia.

This will be the fifth regional chapter for Free Russia Foundation established in 2014, who already maintains offices in Washington, DC, US; in the Silicon Valley, CA, USA; in Kyiv, Ukraine; and in Tbilisi, Georgia.
