«No peace can be built on Putin’s lies»: Natalia Arno on the Trump-Putin summit in Alaska

Free Russia Foundation reminds the world that Vladimir Putin is not a partner for peace — he is a dictator whose regime is built on repression, lies, and aggression. Any negotiations between President Trump and President Putin must begin with a clear understanding that Putin cannot be trusted to honor his commitments.
Peace in Ukraine cannot be brokered over the heads of Ukrainians. No settlement can be reached without the full consent of Ukraine’s democratically elected government, and it must reflect the will and demands of the Ukrainian people. Anything less would legitimize aggression and betray those who have fought and died for their country’s freedom.
Furthermore, a genuine step toward peace requires the immediate and unconditional release of all Ukrainian hostages held by the Kremlin regime, as well as Russian political prisoners jailed for opposing the war. Their freedom is not a bargaining chip — it is a moral imperative. Free Russia Foundation stands with Ukraine, with Russia’s democratic forces, and with all those who believe that peace must be built on justice, accountability, and the dignity of free peoples.
